Description:
The Petaluma River to Sonoma Marsh section of the San Francisco Bay Trail (SFBT) comprises short but scenic trails. One segment begins at the Petaluma River and follows along Port Sonoma Marina. You can connect to the Sonoma Baylands Tidal Marsh Restoration Area section via an on-road route (no bike lanes). The marsh is home to more than 1 million shorebirds and waterfowl and includes trails, tidal marshes, a native plant nursery and environmental education pavilion.

Parking & Trail Access:
Parking and access is available off Sears Point Road/SR 37 at both the east and west (at the marina) ends of the trail segments.
