Description

The Solon–Lake Macbride Recreation Trail runs for 5 miles between the scenic state park and the town of Solon to the east. The popular trail is perfect for cycling or walking and skiing or snowmobiling in the winter. In addition, the park offers camping, fishing, boating, picknicking and other recreational opportunities. The trail winds along the northern shore of Lake Macbride among both wooded and open green spaces.

Parking and Trail Access

Park at Lake Macbride State Park (3525 Highway 382 NE) or at the Solon end near 1750 Racine Avenue (ample parking).
