Description:
The Split Rail Trail takes trail-goers for a loop around Willow Creek Park's athletic fields and by a fishing pond before heading north through a residential area along Split Rail Lane and arriving at the Willow Creek Trailhead. From there, this gently graded path goes west along Old Ranch Road, connecting with the McLeod Creek Trail and East 224 Connector Trail, and ending along Highway 224.

Parking & Trail Access:
From I-80, take exit 145 onto Hwy 224 to Park City. Travel for 2.4 miles, then take a left on W. Old Ranch Road; travel a half mile to the entrance of Willow Creek Park & Trailhead.

Residential and Connector Trail

Part of the interconnecting and growing Snyderville Basin Special Recreation District Trail System, Excellent surface, several street grade crossings. From Willow Creek TH, an asphalt surfaced trail goes west on the north side of Old Ranch Rd and connects with Olympic Parkway at Hwy 224 N40.69237 W111.54404 Noel Keller 5 May 2011
