Description:
The S&S Greenway lies in southeastern Statesboro, a college town that's home to Georgia Southern University. It traces the route of the former Savannah & Statesboro Railway, which first began in 1897. Currently, 1 mile of the trail is complete, offering an interesting mix of dense woodlands with busy shopping and dining areas at both ends. The trail will one day total 8 miles as it stretches south to downtown Brooklet.

Parking & Trail Access:
Parking can be found at Gentilly Square Shopping Center (Gentilly Road and Brannen Street) or Statesboro Crossing (Brannen Street and Veterans Memorial Parkway) at either end of the trail.
