Description:
Stones River Greenway is one of many forming Nashville's system of greenways throughout the city. Nashville's greenways link neighborhoods, schools, shopping areas, the downtown area, offices, recreation areas, open spaces and other points of interest.

The Stones River Greenway is a multi-use trail that runs from the Cumberland River to the J. Percy Priest Reservoir at Nashville Shores. Much of the trail runs parallel to Stones River and provides access to a number of communities and parks along the way, including the skate park at Two Rivers Park. The Stones River Greenway also connects to the Shelby Bottoms Greenway at the Cumberland River by the dam.

A very well done trail
By bbirishfan in March, 2011
This trail offers many different options based on your choice of running, biking, hiking or walking. The trail is newly paved and very wide in spots, yet provides a scenic experience. There are many hills that can create challenges to maximize your training. The community has invested a lot of thought and money to make this greenway a wonderful trail. Extremely well done!
Thigh-burner
By awargo in July, 2010
This 9mi trail follows the Stones River from Percy Priest dam to the Cumberland river, where it connects to the Shelby Bottoms trail. The scenery is nice, but the trail is an up-and-down one that will give your thighs a good workout. Park at the 3 rivers water park at one end, Kohls on Lebanon Pike in the middle, and the dam at the other end. Maps are available at nashville.gov/greenways.
