Trail users at Stony Creek Metropark can enjoy bicycling or inline skating around Stony Creek Lake on the paved 6.2-mile (10K) hike/bike trail, or mountain biking or hiking on the 14 miles of hilly, heavily wooded dirt trails that traverse the southwest side of the park. The Michigan Mountain Bike Association helps keep this area groomed. Helmets required on mountain bike trails.
How to get there from Detroit: NE of Rochester, north of Utica off Van Dyke Expressway (M53). From M53, take 26 Mile west 1.5 miles to park entrance. Trail starts near the golf course.
