Description:
From the Citizens for Modern Transit website:

The Ted Jones Trail is a multi-use paved path that connects the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) to downtown Ferguson. It is roughly parallel to Florissant Road, offering a peaceful tree-lined alternative. The Trail runs through a 392-foot tunnel below I-70, about half a mile from UMSL. The tunnel is decorated with a 3-D mural created by local artists and high-school students.

This trail is part of the longer North County Bikeway, which continues on-road beyond the Ted Jones Trail for 10.4 miles.

A terrific trail, I just wish it were longer!

This is a really pleasant trail to bike on. Aside from the extreme south end, the trail is almost completely flat and straight. It does not have many at-grade street crossings, so potential conflicts with traffic are few. The trail is easily accessible from the UMSL North Metrolink Station, Normandy, MO.
