Two Rivers Trail

This trail runs adjacent to the American River and connects Jibboom Street and Highway 160. It was awarded the 2007 Project of the Year Award in the Parks & Trails Category by The Sacramento Chapter of the American Public Works Association. It provides a connection to the longer Sacramento River Parkway Trail on the west side and the Sacramento Northern Bike Trail on the east side from the large redevelopment project and new light rail station on Richards Boulevard. Scenic views of the American River await at every turn. Eventually the trail will be extended along the southern bank of the American River to CSU Sacramento.
