Description
The Union Pacific Trail runs for just a short distance between E. 100th Avenue and Thornton Parkway in the Denver suburb of Thornton. The trail runs through a shadeless corridor alongside a railroad track in a strip of open space and behind surban back yards.
Parking and Trail Access
Park along Harrison Street (blocks 9970 to 9600) and take a short spur trail to the Union Pacific Trail.

No directions for the trail on the website so I stopped at City Hall and got a map of the bike trails in Thornton. I found a Community Park Trail along an active Union Pacicic Railroad that was 0.6 miles long. No trail heads. Found an entrance off E 98 ...
