The rails and ties are still in place along this trail. It is overgrown in the summer making any use other than walking impossible. During the winter with snow cover the trail is used by snowmobiles and cross country skiers. Over much of its length, the trial provides scenic views of the Connecticut River.
Note: ATVs are permitted on the trail for winter use only with snow cover
