The Upper Struve Slough Trail is part of a network of trails running through Watsonville's wetlands, offering a natural, outdoor experience and birding hotspot right in the heart of an urban area. The trail begins on the north side of Main Street and continues north along the Struve Slough, switching from bank to bank. Trail spurs lead to Hope Drive and Montebello Road, offering easy neighborhood access.

The waterway is 5 miles long; explore its southern end on the other side of Main Street along the Ohlone Loop Trail. Or, continue on a neighboring marsh along the Watsonville Slough Trail.

Parking and Trail Access

Parking can be found at the south end of the trail at the Watsonville Square shopping center, located along Main Street and Green Valley Road.
