Description:
Wichita's Downtown Bikeway, a.k.a., Midtown Bike Path, is a short stretch of paved path that runs mostly along an adjacent widened sidewalk that parallels Central Avenue. The path crosses the river on Central then heads south to the Mid-America All-Indian Center, where it meets up with the Arkansas River Bike Path. The path features Victorian-style pedestrian lighting, brick columns and steel archways, a plaza in Otis Park in the form of a railroad turntable and landscaped gardens.

Parking & Trail Access:
You can access the bike path in downtown Wichita and from the eastern terminus at the Arkansas River Bike Path, by the Mid-America All-Indian Center.
