From Greenways for Oldham County, Inc. website:

The county is currently seeking a $350,000 grant from the Kentucky Department of Transportation for Transportation Enhancement funding to support a critical 3.2 mile stretch of trail along Commerce Parkway in the LaGrange and Buckner areas.

The planned path would provide a safe place for pedestrians and bicyclists without the use of highways and present an exercise option to residents. Moreover, it provides multiple options for future connectivity to planned developments to include Eden Park, and a planned new elementary school and subdivision on Allen Lane.
