City Walk Description

The City Walk is part of the Hickory Trail network and provides an important off-road route through downtown Hickory. From its eastern end on 8th Street by Lenoir-Rhyne University, the trail heads west along Main Avenue through downtown before heading north along 11th Street NW until it reaches Old Lenoir Road.

 

Parking and Trail Access

Greenway Public Transportation provides access to the trail via a number of bus stops along 8th Street and NW Main Street. Refer to the Greenway website for more information.  

Parking is available in linear parking lots along Main Street NW.
