Join Rock Creek Conservancy, Montgomery County Department of Parks, and new Rock Creek Stream Team Leader Jake Klim for a trash cleanup event at Randolph Hills Local Park. Tools, gloves, bags and training will be provided at each site and SSL hours can be earned. Students under 14 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian. Volunteer Activity: Volunteers will help clean up trash from the woods near Randolph Hills Local Park When: Saturday, October 21 from 09:00 am - 12:00 pm Where: Volunteers will meet in the Randolph Hills Local Park parking lot near the intersection of Macon Rd and Ashley Dr in North Bethesda. What to Wear: Please dress appropriately for the weather. It may be chilly so dress warmly and in layers. Wear sturdy boots or sneakers, no sandals. What to Bring: Bring water. Gloves and bags will be provided. Feel free to bring your own gloves if you have them. Students must be supervised for the duration of the event by a parent or guardian. Students can earn SSL hours, but please bring needed form.
