Have a hauntingly good time at this Spooktacular 5K® Run/Walk! Located on the historic Kemper Center grounds on the shores of Lake Michigan, this event is fun for the whole family! Dress in your favorite costume to run in the 5K, and then stay for the costume contest! All registered participants for the 5K will receive a long sleeved, glow in the dark shirt. Starting on the Kemper Center grounds, we will go north on 3rd Avenue. Taking a right onto the bike path at Wolfenbuttel park, you will view Lake Michigan as you round the shore and pass the harbor. Continuing to follow the bike path, the turn around is at Celebration Park. You follow the path back to Kemper Center and the finish. Kids Trick-or-Treat Walk will begin at approximately 10:30 a.m. Please register your children for the route so that we can prepare enough goodies for everyone. Your child can participate in both the 5K and the Trick-Or-Treat Walk, but they must be registered for both. Shirts are not included in the Trick-or-Treat Walk registration, but can be purchased for $10 during registration. Throughout the event there will be pumpkin decorating and fun activities for the entire family!
