Recreational fun ride thru beautiful rural Montcalm County! FREE t-shirt if registered by July 7th! This ride is on an all paved rail trail traveling through scenic woodlands, meadows, wetlands, tunnel of trees, farmland and over many boardwalks and bridges. An abundance of wildflowers and variety of wildlife along the trail. Routes: 8, 17, 26, 42 and 52 miles. Out and back ride. The 52 mile route takes you around the edge of Baldwin Lake which has a sandy public beach access. The majority of the route is on paved rail-to-trails and the balance is on a paved road with a bike lane. This ride offers Support Assistance Group (SAG) including rest stops with restrooms, drinks and delicious snacks served with warm small town hospitality.
