RI JAYCEES Alumni Members host Corporate Employees, Small Businesses and related organizations all season long (April - October) in doing public gardening and general landscape tasks at the award-winning JAYCEE CORRIDOR & ARBORETUM and state Senator Donald Roch RIVERWALK. Corporate & Small Business Employees and other Organizational Representatives, as an annual event, in doing public gardening and general landscape tasks that refreshes, adorns and overall beautifies through watering/weeding/light raking/fertilizing/recreation restoration of the award-winning JAYCEE CORRIDOR & ARBORETUM and the entrance to the state Senator Donald Roch RIVERWALK. No training of any kind is needed, just a minimum commitment to standard horticultural endeavors in an open space venue interacting with small groups of volunteers. The framework for scheduling an event during the cultivating & planting season is ( April – October). If you are seeking to incorporate a fine quality community service event, we have the place and time to welcome your organization and to ensure your volunteering experience goes smoothly, is engaging and meaningful for participants, and makes a difference in the community.
