The Scary in the Praire is held at RecPlex, the Largest Municipal Recreation Facility in America. RecPlex, is located on the shores of Lake Andrea in Prairie Springs Park in Pleasant Prairie. Pleasant Prairie is located in southeastern Wisconsin between Milwaukee and Chicago. The 5K/10K run starts and finishes in the picturesque setting of Prairie Springs Park, a 425-acre park along the shores of Lake Andrea, a sparkling 100-acre spring fed lake. The Scary in the Prairie Run will take you through the newly completed Prairie Farms Trail that begins in Prairie Springs Park.
