Print Friendly MapThe Bear Canyon Trail is an east-west route through northern Albuquerque stretching from the Arroyo Del Oso Golf Course to Juan Tabo Boulevard. To either side, the trail offers neighborhood views; straight ahead, trail-goers will face the scenic Sandia Mountains. At its eastern end, the trail runs along El Oso Grande Park, a grassy open space with picnic areas and sports fields. A disconnected trail segment extends between Osuna Road and US-85.
A second western section of the trail runs through the backside of the Group Nine Industrial Park for 1.25 miles making the total trail mileage 5.45 miles.
There is parking available for this trail at Arroyo del Oso Park, 7001 Osuna Rd NE.
