Explore Fairmount Park, the largest park in Philadelphia! Spanning over 2,000 acres, the park has lots to offer. The Schuylkill River runs through the park, which is composed of East Fairmount Park and West Fairmount Park. Fairmount Park is home to a wide variety of cultural, historical, and recreational attractions including numerous trails, woods and fields, historical sites, multiple museums, art centers and performing spaces, athletic fields and courts, playgrounds, a variety of gardens, water features, and lots more.
The MLK Drive Trail and the Schuylkill River Trail wind through the park. Additional pathways connect the park's amenities and attractions. There are also several hiking trails with rougher terrain.
The Lincoln Drive Trail, the Wissahickon Valley Park Trail, and the Pencoyd Trail are slightly north of the park.
Philly's public transit system (SEPTA) provides easy access to the park. Visit the SEPTA website to plan your trip.
Parking is available at multiple lots throughout the park including along Reservoir Drive, Martin Luther King Jr Drive, and Kelly Drive.
