Gathering Place is Tulsa's Riverfront Park and it offers a delightful range of outdoor experiences for the whole family. Fully ADA compliant, the park has miles of paved pathways that wind through the landscape and connect a variety of attractions. The park has open green space, trees, ponds, water play areas, multiple playgrounds, picnic areas, several gardens including a sensory garden, event spaces, a small beach, and several dining options. 120 feet of suspension bridges offer additional connections between the park's venues.
There are accessible water fountains, restrooms, parking, and seating. All entrances, pathways and bridges are accessible and there are Ultra ADA pads located throughout the park. Free push wheelchairs are available for use in the park.
The Midland Valley Trail curves through the east side of the park and connects it with the surrounding neighborhoods. At the trail’s southern end, a converted railroad trestle over the Arkansas River also links trail users with nearly 20 miles of paved trails—the Riverparks East Bank Trail and Riverparks West Bank Trail—along the river.
Tulsa's public transportation system provides easy access to the park. Visit the Tulsa Transit website to plan your trip.
For those driving, the Gathering Place has a parking lot off S John Williams Way and accessible spaces are available.
