Print Friendly MapThe Halls Bayou Trail runs for nearly 10 miles in 4 disconnected segments. The trail links neighborhoods with Tidwell Park and Forest Brook High School, passing through wooded stretches among green, open space.
The first segment runs from Kieth-Weiss Park to Mary Withers Park. The second runs through Tidwell Park along Halls Bayou. The third segment runs through Halls Bayou Park. And finally, the fourth segment runs through the Waddell Greenspace.
There are several parking options available including at Keith-Weiss Park, 12300 Aldine Westfield Rd, at Tidwell Park/Community Center, 9720 Spaulding St, at Lake Forest Park along Las Cruces Circle and at Waddell Greenspace along N Green River Dr.

It’s a nice ride but I hate that ppl can’t respect the little nature we have in Houston. It’s has a lower income area around it in some places and it just seems with that ppl don’t respect what little they have.
I agree with the 2 other reviews. In addition to lack of safety rest and water stops the illegal dumping of a nice green space is terrible. What is being done about this? I don’t see these problems on Allen Parkway, Memorial Park, or Hermann Park . Not on Braes Bayou either.
I agree with the first comment, this trail is 3 miles of only a few rest areas, minimal to none break exits, and is somewhat quite isolated not to have any law enforcement.
It is however, a good trail for this part of Houston and scenery, although, I would suggest having protection and/or a companion during any walk, runs, or bike rides if your going the distance.
It is isolated..no-one uses. You can't get off in the event of an emergency, how do you get help. I see no law enforcement presence.
