Centered around its namesake lake, Lake Accotink Park is a 493-acre park with a variety of recreational activities. The park has a playground, a sand volleyball court, a basketball court, a golf course, a boat launch, picnic areas and pavilion with grills, restrooms, a snack bar, and an antique carousel. Enjoy boating and fishing on the lake. There is a network of single-track trails for hiking/biking. Bike, canoe, and pedal boat rentals are available.
The multiuse Lake Accotink Trail winds through the park and loops through the surrounding neighborhoods. In addition to the main route, there are a number of other multiuse trails with a variety of surfaces.
Parking is available in large lots at the park's main entrance (7500 Accotink Park Rd) and at the rear entrance (5660 Heming Ave).
