Lindale Trail Description

Although short, the Lindale Trail provides an important off-road east-west connection between Cedar Rapids and Marion. The tree-lined route, along the former Canadian National Railway, is nestled between houses and businesses. At its eastern end, it connects to the Boyson Trail, a recreational corridor linking several parks. At its western end sits the Rockwell Collins complex, the area's largest private employer, making the route a valuable one for commuters.

It is one day planned to extend the trail west to the Cedar River Trail and east to the Grant Wood Trail.

Parking and Trail Access

A parking lot is available at the western end of the trail, off C. Avenue Northeast in Cedar Rapids.

From the eastern end of the trail, you can travel 0.2 miles north on the Boyson Trail to reach the parking lot in Donnelly Park (290 W 8th Avenue).
