Loring Park Description

Located in the heart of Minneapolis, Loring Park is centered around a large pond and offers a wide variety of recreational activities. In addition to open fields and wooded areas, the park has a community garden, playground, enclosed dog park, wading pool, ice rink, tennis court, basketball court, fishing pier, fountain, picnic area, restrooms, and drinking fountains. 

A biking path runs through the park and wide, paved pedestrian paths connect the park's attractions. The North Cedar Lake Regional Trail runs north of the park.

The park is open from 6am to midnight.

The park is within easy walking or biking distance from downtown Minneapolis.
