Old Colony Nature Pathway Description

The Old Colony Nature Pathway is a short trail open on a former Old Colony Railroad corridor in Provincetown, a picturesque vacation destination at the tip of Cape Cod. While a longer portion of the same corridor farther south is now home to the paved Cape Cod Rail Trail, the Old Colony Nature Pathway is much more rustic, with a sand and dirt surface that is best suited to mountain bikes, hiking boots and horses.

Parking and Trail Access

There are no official parking areas for the Old Colony Nature Pathway, but the trail can be accessed in Provincetown from Howland Street, Snail Road, Mount Gilboa Road and Mayflower Avenue.

...for strolling through the woods solo, with a friend, a family, or your dog. Shaded and flat, well maintained and feels almost private. A great find.
