Scottsdale Multiuse Path Reviews

Caught this trail near our hotel in Tempe near the lakefront. Was able to ride north into Scottsdale about 5 1/2 miles. Unfortunately, part of it was closed at the north end for maintenance. The trail itself however is nice comprised mainly of cement. The only down side of this is the expansion joints every few feet that produce a steady "thump-thump" as you ride. You do get used to it after a while so not such a big deal. Very nice view through and beside numerous parks and golf courses. I was able to ride it back and forth twice for a total of about 23 miles while there and look forward to being able to ride it again.

"I ride these paths on a regular basis, especialy between McCormack Park and Shea. Part of the ride is along a small man-made lake. The paths are well maintained and marked. I would recommend them for safe and pleasureable biking.
