Three Rivers Bike Path Description

The Three Rivers Bike Path in St. Johnsbury is the easternmost completed section of what will become the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail, a developing trail network that will stretch across northern Vermont for 93 miles from St. Johnsbury to Swanton.

This 1.5-mile scenic community path was completed in the summer of 2012. A beautifully landscaped parking lot is located on South Main Street. The fine, crushed-stone surface is suitable for many forms of outdoor activity.

Parking and Trail Access

The parking lot is located on the east end of the trail along South Main Street, just off U.S. Route 5.

Three Rivers Bike Path Reviews

This is a short (approx 2 mile) trail that most people treat as the start of the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail. There is nothing otherwise special about it, although it is in very good shape.

This is a short lovely well built trail that gets a lot of use by locals for walking and biking. There is very limited parking at the western end so most people start at the lot off South Main Street. Youker
