The Bennies Hill Road Bridge has stood strong for more than 130 years due to its unique and solid design. It was originally built in 1889 for carriage transportation and now, many years later, is able to safely carry motor vehicles. Despite the slight modifications made in 1977 and 2009, the bridge has maintained its original bow-arch architectural features.
