Alamo Canal Trail Description

As its name suggests, the Alamo Canal Trail can be found adjacent to the man-made waterway located in Dublin, in the Tri-Valley region of the Bay Area. Though short, this trail makes useful connections to other trails, the most prominent of which is the Iron Horse Regional Trail, a 32-mile rail-trail. At its north end, the trail also connects to the Alamo Creek Bike Path. At its south end, the trail provides access to the Dublin Library and civic center, which doubles as a trailhead. An underpass whisks users beneath Interstate 580, emerging onto the Centennial Trail in neighboring Pleasanton.

Parking and Trail Access

Parking is available at the Dublin Library (200 Civic Plaza, Dublin). The bike path is located behind the library.
