Print Friendly MapThe Baird Creek Trail begins on the east side of the East River in the heart of Green Bay. The paved pathway follows the river a short distance north, past Sullivan Elementary School. Soon, you'll come to the East River Bridge, which you can use to cross the river and reach the East River Trail. From the bridge, the trail meanders eastward along Baird Creek to end at Baird Creek Road near I-43. Much of the pathway is pleasantly tree-lined and is never far from homes, business, and schools.
A parking lot is available on the east end of the trail at Baird Creek Road.
We enjoy taking visitors on this trail because it shows the beauty of Baird Creek and then ends up in downtown Green Bay, where you can then hook up on the “Packers Heritage Trail. Here you will find a gallery of the 25 commemorative plaques located on the Packers Heritage Trail (City Walk), the Packing Plant Spur and the Lambeau-Lombardi Spur. It’s a fun easy ride. Combining both trails is a fun way to spend an afternoon riding an easy trail. (shady way on the Braid Creek Trail)
