The Bonanza Trail travels east to west for about 5.3 miles in Las Vegas, along a combination of off-street trails, on-street bike lanes and sidewalks. Despite this, the trail is easy to navigate thanks to the abundant green trail signs. The trail connects local residents to businesses and neighborhoods, as well to other amenities such as schools and parks.
The trail begins at the Kellogg Zaher Soccer Complex and heads east to the Bill Briare Park, where a ramp takes users up to the Tenaya Way overpass. The trail then pivots east along Westcliff Drive and then along the US-95 wall. At Jones Boulevard, the trail turns 90 degrees and crosses underneath US-95. It continues east up to the College of Southern Nevada. The final section of the trail is on-street bike lanes/ sidewalk along Bonanza Road before terminating at that street's intersection with Valley View Boulevard just past the Ruth Fyfe Elementary School.
A good place to start is Bill Briare Park, where you do a roundtrip ride or walk on the off-street section west to the Kellogg Zaher Soccer Complex, or head south along Tenaya Way sidewalk. The Bill Briare Park is located at 650 Tenaya Way, Las Vegas.
