The C-470 Bikeway—also known as the C-470 Trail and Centennial Trail in Douglas County—provides open views of the Colorado foothills as it follows the southwestern segment of Denver's beltway. The paved trail connects to many other regional and local trails, including the High Line Canal Trail, Mary Carter Greenway (Arapahoe Greenway), Bear Creek Trail and Cherry Creek Regional Trail.

Parking and Trail Access

There is parking at several points along the trail, including at Bear Creek Lake Park in Lakewood and Chatfield State Park in Littleton. See TrailLink Map for more information.

C-470 Bikeway Reviews

Quebec Tunnel Completed

This is a wonderful bike trail. I live near C-470 and University. The location allows me to connect to the Cherry Creek Trail, and with a few exceptions have limited interaction with traffic. The Quebec and Colorado Blvd tunnels have been completed. This removes the unsafe interaction with traffic that previously existed.

Great ride!

Very impressed with this paved trail. Concrete was a tad bumpy at times but overall not bad. Regarding the Quebec underground tunnel, it is officially complete. Its a nice well lit tunnel. Overall the few intersections you do have to cross, which is rare, are not that bad. The park meadows mall intersection was the worse but not as intimidating and dangerous as the old Quebec intersection pre tunnel days.

Parking?

Live in Highlands Ranch and am not at all comfortable with street bike lanes on Quebec St. to access C-470 bile trail. Is anyone aware of public parking in my area with direct access to the trail?

Tunnel under Quebec Street almost complete.

Finally, the tunnel under Quebec Street at E470 is almost complete. Should be complete by Late Spring, 2020. Great addition to the trail and enhances safety for users.
