Clark's Creek Greenway Description

Clark's Creek Greenway is a beautiful trail located in the city of Charlotte. It spans a total distance of 2.5 miles and is a popular spot for outdoor enthusiasts, families, and locals out with their dogs.

The greenway follows the course of Clark's Creek, which is a tributary of the nearby Neuse River. The trail is mostly flat and easy to walk, making it accessible for people using mobility devices. The surrounding landscape is beautiful, with trees, wildflowers, and wildlife dotting the route.

Along the trail, visitors will find several amenities to enhance their experience, including picnic tables, benches, and a playground for children. There are also multiple access points, making it easy to hop on and off the trail at different locations.

One of the most notable features of Clark's Creek Greenway is the boardwalk that runs through a wetland area. This section of the trail provides a unique perspective of the natural ecosystem and allows visitors to get up close and personal with the flora and fauna.

Clark's Creek Greenway is a fantastic destination for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of nature while also getting some exercise. It's a peaceful and serene trail that is well-maintained and provides opportunities for a variety of trail activities.

The trail connects to the Mallard Creek Greenway—together they form a continuous 7.40-mile route.
