Cobbs Creek Trail Description

Cobbs Creek Trail runs through the borough of Lansdowne, just west of Philadelphia. The paved pathway offers a scenic route along its tree-lined namesake creek from the 63rd Street Station to Cobbs Creek Parkway and 70th Street.

It connects to the 58th Street Greenway (an important city connector which also provides access to the historical Bartram's Garden) and will link to the developing Cobbs Creek Connector Trail that will head to John Heinz Wildlife Refuge. The trail is also part of a larger effort called the East Coast Greenway, a trail network spanning nearly 3,000 miles and connecting major cities along the Eastern Seaboard.

Parking and Trail Access

You can access the trail using public transportation by getting off at the 63rd Street Station of the SEPTA Market-Frankford Line, which is near the northern terminus of the trail.

On-street parking is available along several of the local streets surrounding the trail.

Cobbs Creek Trail Reviews

I love the Cobbs Creek trail

I ride this trail every day (when I return from traveling abroad) from Spruce Street and Cobbs Creek Parkway to the Duncan Donuts which is a short distance from 68th street . The trail is clean and safe. The neighborhood is safe and it is a good neighborhood despite what that outsider believes.

I grew up in this area and I love returning to Cobbs Creek Parkway and the surrounding neighborhoods, although, I now live in Playa Del Carmen Mexico; I still maintain a home in Delaware County and I always enjoy Cobbs Creek Park and the trail.

I love the Cobbs Creek trail and I implore others to take advantage of this jewel.

Lots of trash. Not a good neighborhood

great running path

Great running path, people are few. Only problem is there so trash, but the local groups keep it clean that it does not Ruin the trail
