Confluence Trail Description

The Confluence Trail winds through the woods where the North and South Forks of Peachtree Creek meet, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The trail runs parallel to the creek for most of its length, giving you plenty of opportunities to stop and take in the scenery. The paved path is wide and flat with a few gentle inclines and declines. There are benches along the way where you can rest and enjoy the view.

The northern end of the trail connects to the PATH400 Greenway Trail and to the Cheshire Farm Trail via a trail connector that passes under the Northeast Expressway. Heading south from the northern trailhead, you'll find the confluence of the North and South Forks of Peachtree Creek. This is a beautiful spot where the two creeks come together, and you can hear the sound of the water rushing over the rocks. There is an ADA-accessible, 175-foot bridge that offers a great view of the water and the surrounding woods. At the southern end of the trail, Armand Park (2177 Armand Rd NE, Atlanta) has a playground.

The Confluence Trail at Peachtree Creek is a peaceful and scenic way to experience the natural beauty of Atlanta. Remember to bring plenty of water and be mindful of others sharing the trail with you.

Parking and Trail Access

Atlanta's public transit system provides access via several bus stops near the northern end of the trail. Refer to the MARTA website for more information.

On-street parking is available at Armand Park (2177 Armand Rd NE, Atlanta), which serves as the southern end of the trail.
