Crystal Bridges Trail Description

The Crystal Bridges Trail runs along the western edge of the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, which features a striking design, extensive collection and free admission. The museum was borne out of Alice Walton's prolific collection, and the Walmart heiress has continued to support its operations with a large endowment and keen eye for prized art.

The museum generously paid for the construction of the Crystal Bridges Trail and then donated it to the city, who added it to their growing trail system. In the north, the trail connects to the North Bentonville Trail, a scenic pathway that forms an arc around the city's northern reaches. In the south, the trail ends close to downtown on NE 3rd Street, but the northern trailhead for the Town Branch Trail on E. Central Avenue isn't far away.

All three of these trails are also components of the Razorback Regional Greenway, a 46-mile, primarily off-road, shared-use trail that extends from southeast Bella Vista to the southern edge of Fayetteville.

Parking and Trail Access

Parking for the Crystal Bridges Trail is available at the A Street Trailhead (906 NE A St.), Compton Gardens (312 N. Main Street) and a shared trailhead with the North Bentonville Trail at the intersection of NE Cub Circle and NE A Street.

Crystal Bridges Trail Reviews

lovely trail

My wife and I stayed in an Airbnb close to the Bentonville square and walked this mile long trail. Love it! Peaceful, serene, manicured and natural surrounding with well placed sculptures along the whole way.
