This multiuse path extends for over 3 miles along Dallas Highway (State Route 120). There is some big box retail clustered around the intersection with Barrett Parkway, as well as some smaller commercial nodes scattered along the trail. The trail is smooth and well-maintained, with benches placed at intervals. From its eastern terminus on John Ward Road, you can access the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park’s Cheatham Hill hiking loop trail. Follow John Ward Road down to the roundabout, take the second exit onto Cheatham Road. Stay on that until you reach the trailhead.
There is no designated parking for this trail.
