This recreational trail travels along the south side of E. Military Road. The concrete path connects neighborhoods on the east side of Fremont to Johnson Park. The park is home to a fishing lake stocked with bass and catfish. There is a 0.8 mile path circling the lake. The park's other amenities include splash station, picnic facilities, disc golf and soccer fields.
The East Military Trail can also be used as a safe way to commute on foot or by bike to Fremont Middle School, which is next door to the park.
