This concrete non-motorized pathway starts in a residential part of McKinney, on Voltaire Boulevard then whips round and ducks under El Dorado Parkway to emerge on the edge of Valley Creek Park. The trail follows El Dorado Parkway as it heads east, passing Valley Crek Elementary as well as a mix of businesses. At Hidden Forest Drive it begins to peel away from the parkway, and it starts to share the electric utility right-of-way. It dead-ends just short of Country Club Drive.
