Floresville El Camino Trail Description

The Floresville El Camino Trail is a 2-mile rail-trail that passes through the City of Floresville as it follows the former San Antonio & Aransas Pass Railroad right-of-way. With the majority of the route traversing greenbelt space, the trail runs southeast from the River Bend Golf Course to Hospital Blvd/SH 97 West. Most of the trail surface is dirt and grass, but there is half a mile that is paved. The route features several bridges and the former depot building, which has been turned into a museum. Benches are placed along the trail.

Parking and Trail Access

Parking is available at Pecan Park (1823 5th St) by the southern end of the trail. There are two parking lots with access on 5th St and Hospital Blvd/SH 97 West. Detailed directions are available on the TrailLink map.
