Foster-Arend Trail Description

The Foster-Arend Trail helps connect residents in northern Rochester with the rest of the city's network of trails and bike paths, and leads into Foster-Arend Park, a popular local park that offers playgrounds, picnic areas, and a nice sandy beach along the bordering lake. The trail's western end lies at an intersection with the Zumbro North Trail, which functions almost as the spine of the city's trail network, and the path continues east along the side of 37th Street.

Crossing over the river, the trail splits, with an underpass leading north into the park, and sidepath continuing further east to the trail's end at 6th Avenue. Across the road, the East Circle Drive Bike Path allows cyclists and pedestrians to continue their journey along even more smooth asphalt pathway.

Parking and Trail Access

Parking is available at Foster-Arend Park, located at 4051 East River Road NE in Rochester.
