Print Friendly MapTaking residents and visitors through the natural areas in the north of Springfield, the Fulbright Spring Greenway is a hidden gem of Ozark’s Greenway System. The trail was initially named after the waterway closest to it, South Dry Sac River. The trail is 6 miles long, in 2 separate segments: the longest segment runs (west-east) from Ritter Springs Park (Scott Rd.) along South Dry Sac River until ending along E Farm Rd. 100.
The secondary, shorter section of the trail runs along Valley Water Mill Park and slightly north further along South Dry Sac Run.
Parking is available at the Lost Hills Trailhead (4705 N. Farm Rd. 141) and the David C. Murray trailhead (4683 N. Farm Rd. 141). There are portable restrooms on-site. Parking is also available at Ritter Springs Park (located at 3683 W. Farm Rd. 92).
At Valley Water Mill Park, 2450 E Valley Water Mill Rd, there is parking, restrooms and water fountains.

Great trail. I started at lost hill trailhead and went west. There were even 2 port-a-John’s there. The trail was either blacktop or cement at least 7’ wide. Mileage markets every tenth of a mile. Very enjoyable, and well groomed. Great discovery near my hotel!
Cute little trail with a water hazard. We stayed at Cooks RV and rode the bikes to the trailhead at the school. We got about a mile into it and came across a creek crossing. There is no bridge, so you have to ride through the creek on a concrete pad. There is signage that says not to cross through the water, so I assume that this creek is normally dry. The blacktop needs to be upgraded in a few spots.
