Iron Range Trails - Crystal Falls to Iron River Trail Description

The Crystal Falls to Iron River section of the Iron Range Trail system is primarily used by snowmobiles and ATVs. The trail follows an old railroad corridor through the bogs, lakes and forests of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, between the towns of Iron River and Crystal Falls. The trail meets the State Line Trail just west of Stambaugh Airport in Iron River. The east end of the trail connects to the Crystal Falls to Stager segment.

Parking and Trail Access

In Iron River you can access the trail from the State Line Trail. You can park at Lake Emily off Lake Emily Road. Parking and access are also available at Long Lake off Long Lake Road and in Crystal Falls at the eastern terminus.
