Lackman Road Path Description

Lackman Road Path begins across from Swarner Park, where you'll find a number of recreational amenities, including sports fields, a playground, fishing pond, and skate park. From there, you head south through Shawnee, a suburb of Kansas City. Much of the trail's southern end is residential, but just past busy Shawnee Mission Parkway you'll come to a large shopping area.

On the south side of Midland Drive, you can connect to two other short trails: Midland Drive Path (heading west) and Blackfish Parkway Trail (heading east).

Parking and Trail Access

At the north end of the trail, on the opposite (north) side of W. 63rd Street, is Swarner Park (6200 Lackman Road), where parking is available.
