Longleaf Trail Description

Nestled in the northern outskirts of the charming town of Southern Pines, the Longleaf Trail provides a useful connection between the Pine Grove Village, Talamore and Longleaf neighborhoods. Running between the Forest Creek Trail and the Longleaf Access Trail, this half-mile pathway is part of a network of trails surrounding Reservoir Park, a scenic tree-lined lake.

Parking and Trail Access

Parking is available in nearby Reservoir Park (300 Reservoir Park Road).

BEAUTIFUL RIDE

I found this trail on trail links and what a nice find. If you're into riding asphalt, gradual hill, nice long straights and good scenery. On the flip side, if you want to hit some nice single track, it has that too. Just go to the Jackson Station and look at the map and you'll be on your way to a nice ride. The trails are well marked and well kept. Nothing too advanced or difficult, some really nice riding.
