Tucked in a quiet residential corner of northeastern Rio Rancho, the Los Rios Trail provides a paved pathway along the side of a diversion channel, with informational signs, benches, and shade structures providing some nice enhancements along the short route. The southern end of the trail picks up at Rio Oso Road, following the concrete-lined channel north to an open space just shy of Corrales Road, where dirt paths lead away from the end of the trail. A pleasant-enough place for a neighborhood stroll - and a nice place for dogwalkers as well - the Los Rios Trail gives nearby residents some quality outdoor recreation options.
No dedicated parking is available; parking may be available nearby on-street along the trail - be sure to follow any posted parking signs and regulations.
