Marsh Creek Regional Trail follows the sinuous course of Marsh Creek through the outskirts of suburbia and among the rich farmland of Contra Costa County. The 10-mile paved extends north from the intersection of Vineyard Parkway and Marsh Creek Road in Brentwood to Big Break Lake, where the trail intersects Big Break Regional Trail. Where the Marsh Creek Trail crosses Cypress Lane, you can pick up the Delta de Anza Regional Trail to the west.
There are plans to extend the trail further south and west through Round Valley Regional Preserve and Morgan Territory Regional Preserve, for a total of 14 miles.
Parking is available at a number of locations along the trail. View the TrailLink map for all options and detailed directions. Parking locations include the trailhead on Concord Ave, just north of where Central Blvd intersects the trail, and north of where Cypress Rd intersects the trail.
