Mill Creek Greenway (TN) Description

Mill Creek Greenway is one of many forming Nashville's system of greenways throughout the city. Nashville's greenways link neighborhoods, schools, shopping areas, the downtown area, offices, recreation areas, open spaces and other points of interest.

The Mill Creek Greenway consists of two non-contiguous segments, known locally as Blue Hole Road and Ezell Park. The Blue Hole Road section loops 1.8 miles around Antioch Park through a wooded area, beginning at the Antioch Community Center. The Ezell Park section (1.25 miles) begins in the park and follows the creek, crosses SR 255/Harding Place and ends along McGavock Pike.

Parking and Trail Access

You can access the greenway at the following places:

Blue Hole Road section, Antioch Community Center, 5023 Blue Hole Road
Ezell Park section, Ezell Park, 5135 Harding Place.

Mill Creek Greenway (TN) Reviews

Nice flat trail for biking

Great location for young kids or anyone new to biking to ride.

great connector trail

I really enjoy the peacefulness of this Trail. What really makes it great though is that it allows you to connect to all the stores located in Lenox Village and others along the way on Nolensville Pike. You can also easily get to Kroger and Concord Road from there if you cross the street onto Bluff Road you can continue on that into some of the trails in Brentwood.

Mill Creek Greenway - A better location for walking, running, bicycling

Didn't know that crayfish were indigenous to Mill Creek, spotted a 5 foot (plus) heron day before yesterday wading in the creek and then it took off majestically southward, (almost got it on camera-damn), and I find it comforting and very pleasant a walk/run along the stream most anytime. And don't let us forget the smaller birds that flourish there abundantly. Can meet individuals of like mind, have conversations, who would have thought?
Where's my mountain bike, Santa!?

If only people could pick up their trash and not be creepy.

1) people of this neighborhood need to pick up after themselves. The park has so much trash. 2) I was really excited to go to this park because it's less than a couple minutes away from my house and I would love to have a place to take a daily walk at that is also convenient. A couple friends and I went earlier today and right as we started walking along the gravel road we noticed a man in the bushes standing next to his bike near the creek. I yelled hello and he did not respond and did not seem friendly. I got a weird vibe cause he was definitely staring at us and told my friends we needed to go the other way (closest to the street) and follow the paved trail... they caught on and followed.. The dude creeped up on us on his bike and just gave us no words or expression and rode by slowly and then suddenly sped up the trail. As we continued to walk we noticed he was crossing the road on his bike as if he was waiting there at the crosswalk for a while or watching us from afar. We crossed the road and the bridge over mill creek cautiously, enjoying the wildflowers as best we could. Just when we thought the creeper was gone we see him riding towards us again!! Instead of riding past us this time he stopped right next to us and gave us that same blank evil stare. My friend told him he was creeping us out and the creeper said "what did you say, dude?!"... We ignored him, kept walking and cut the trail walking towards the road again. We all got the worst vibe from this guy. He was up to no good. He was a white guy in his late 20's early 30's. Skinny build. Blue eyes, dark blonde short hair. Had black biker style glasses. Looked dirty but don't think he was a bum. We called the cops to check it out. Just bring a friend and a gun if you want to relax while walking this trail.

Found it!

Had been discouraged to traverse because of it's proximity to Davidson County Jail properties. But enjoyed a beautiful sunny Sunday by the rolling creek while walking our dog. Had the whole trail to ourselves and saw no escaped inmates. HA Very near our home, we will be back.
